I never got round to rewriting the epically long comment that blogger decided to delete on the original post… Well, seen as I’m meant to be revising, now seems as good a time as any to try recreating the comment! (They say better late than never however I’m learning from my mistake and typing it up in word first.)
ReplyDelete2) That may not be true but did you know that I’m related to a policeman who worked on the Jack the Ripper cases? Probably not. Plus I’ve got one less truth to use in my blogs…
11) How can you eat cereal without milk?! Although I have to admit I did go through a phase of eating cereal without milk when I was a bit younger.
13) Never having any of those is quite an achievement. I’ve had a blood transfusion and braces and a trip to A&E after a disagreement with a cloak peg that wasn’t quite serious enough to have stitches but nothing much else I don’t think.
18) You weren’t that bad at dancing!! That or my bad dancing masked it… lol =)
21) I’m assuming the E.T. toy wasn’t yours then? One of my earliest memories involves a very hairy caterpillar. (It may have been hungry too but tbh I didn’t ask)
22) Oh, breaking down cars are traumatic. Noah’s handbrake broke on Friday and I don’t think there is anything more scary than sitting in a car with no handbrake! Well, there probably is but still… (And don’t worry, she’s fixed now!)
24) That is one of the most bizarre things I’ve heard about! I don’t think I have any primary school situations to contend with that!
27) Ooh, was it fun? And was there any particular reason or was it just a three week long holiday?
28) I’ve heard of some odd ice cream flavours but I don’t believe that’s one of them…
32) I think I was sad enough to actually want to learn to touch type when I was about 10. However, I too am very glad I did! It’s so much fun watching people’s faces as you look at them while you continue to type a coherent sentence…
38) None of them too serious I hope!! On the plus side, that averages out to just under one a year… Is that a plus?
41) Ah, Bachelor of Science. So a proper subject then ;)
44) If you were to stop going as soon as I started I’d be very disappointed! (Also slightly worried that I was the cause of your departure…. Then again I could just blame Beth…)
47) At some point I will have to teach you how to solve a Rubik’s cube because something makes me think that you’d be good at it. Might have to buy myself a new 3x3 first seen as I still haven’t worked out where I lost my last one…
48) Rubik’s magic? Looking it up on youtube just confused me further.
tbc... (It's like trying to fit everything in my UCAS application all over again! 4000 and something characters only, pah.)
53) If you still haven’t seen “The Doctor’s Wife” I insist you go watch it asap! THE best 11th doctor episode and certainly has shot up to my favourite 2 or 3!
ReplyDelete59) If this was true, I may have had to disown you as a friend…
70) I have a weird de ja vu moment reading this. Something possibly to do with writing a poem whilst sitting on the top deck of a late and grubby bus. I really don’t miss not being able to drive.
72) Wow. That makes the small mosaics my parents sorted for a holiday bible club a number of years ago seem a little pathetic.
76) Let me quote an artist (I want to say Salvador Dali): “Just because I don’t know the meaning of my work doesn’t mean it has no meaning.” This quote propelled my friends and I through GCSE art!
78) We watched a cartoon version of Pilgrim’s Progress with the kids at youth club and they loved it! Although I couldn’t help but get distracted by the fact that the character’s feet were moving faster than the ground! We then watched a Lego Jericho and I couldn’t help but think of you throughout! (I know this isn’t biblically accurate but when the soldiers of Jericho were armed, they literally put arms on them!)
79) I entered their monster competition but I have to admit, after watching the extras on series 3, I’m much happier the guy who actually won beat my rather pathetic attempt!
80) Do we get to hear this half-baked plan? :)
82) Have you ever tried whisking marmite? Fun fact: it goes paler when you do!
84) Totally agree!
86) Is it worrying that the largest recurring theme in my socks is sheep? I’d say they have a clear majority.
87) Centaurs really don’t make any sense! Theoretically, if they are just a human body from the hips up, on top of a horse body excluding the neck, not only will they have an odd centre of gravity but theoretically they will have two copies of all organs…
93) I don’t know how much I’ve seen of Exeter but from what I can remember (a couple of church visits and the A&E) it seems pretty nice but yeah, not “favourite town in the world” nice. Also I believe Exeter is a city.
98) I voted for the first time!! Scary independence of being over 18 in a democratic country! That being said, in the local elections I didn’t have much to choose from: Conservatives or the local independent party. Both having fairly similar views tbh but the candidates for the local independent party live closer to me so I figured they’d be better for initiating local changes…
99) Seconded!
Right, hopefully this will post this time!! Yay for new blogs and procrastination! Ttys :)
Did Hannah have to write 2 ridiculously long comments.
ReplyDeleteapparently she did. i'm not complaining - i like comments.
ReplyDeleteand even if i didn't, there's still the Intergalactic Charter of Human Rights, Article 17, Section G, which sets out "...the Inalienable Right to Leave Long-Winded Comments on Blogs If You So Wish, Provided They're Relevant to the Blog Content"
=]
I like writing long comments too so I'm glad it's not illegal or anything.. =)
ReplyDeleteYou are kind of Lucky because hardly anyone leaves comments on my Blog. I did get some feedback last week in a Feedback box and before then the last one I got was in March.
ReplyDeleteMaybe no-one can comment because my Posts are Fantastic and they are unable to get a Good debate in. It would be nice to get some feedback though.
Sam Arthur (also why can't I leave a comment with just a Google account anymore?)
